With the Record menu, you can capture your own video and seamlessly add it to a Google FormTM.

When you open this menu, 🎬 ClipForm AI will quickly check your device's performance. If your computer or mobile device doesn't have enough processing power, you'll see a friendly prompt letting you know that certain features (like background blur) may not run smoothly. That's because all video processing happens directly on your device — nothing is sent to our servers — so stronger hardware is required for effects like blur.

If your device passes the check, you can enable the BodyPix-powered background blur. You'll have full control over both the background blur and the edge blur, making your video look clean and distraction-free.

Recording is flexible: you can pause and resume at any time. Once you stop recording, the upload menu will appear automatically. Here, you can preview your video before publishing. Since Google FormsTM only supports YouTubeTM videos, you'll need to add a title and description before uploading.

After the upload finishes, 🎬 ClipForm AI opens the Search sidebar, where your freshly uploaded video will appear at the top of the list — ready to be inserted into your form.

🔎 Search

The Search menu makes it easy to find and insert YouTubeTM videos into your form.

When you open it, your 10 most recent uploads are displayed instantly. If you're looking for something else, just start typing in the search field to reveal extra options:

  • Order by - choose how you'd like the results to be sorted.
  • Max results - set the number of videos to return.
  • forMine - when checked, the search only looks through your YouTubeTM account. If unchecked, it runs a general YouTubeTM search across the platform.

When you've found the perfect video, simply click the Wand icon and it will be inserted directly into your form. Quick, simple, and seamless.

🧠 Quiz AI

The Quiz AI menu helps you automatically generate engaging form questions using artificial intelligence.

Start by setting your preferences:

  • Question Type - let the AI decide by selecting Any, or force all questions to be multiple-choice, short answer, etc.
  • Question Count - pick anywhere between 3 and 20 questions.
  • Answer Count - choose how many answer options each question should have (0-5).
  • Correct Answers - define how many correct answers are allowed per question.

You can also fine-tune the output language, writing tone, and difficulty level. For creative variety, adjust the Temperature setting: higher values encourage the AI to generate more imaginative questions, while lower values keep it more factual.

Other customization options include:

  • Append vs. Replace - add questions to your existing form or replace the current ones.
  • AI-Generated Images - let the AI insert images alongside questions. Each image is treated as its own question.
  • Knowledge Base - attach a Google DocumentTM as reference material. To force the AI to stick strictly to your document, keep the Temperature at the lowest value.

Finally, enter your prompt (e.g., "Create a quiz about World War II" or "Build a training form on workplace safety"). If you've selected a document, the AI will use that as the knowledge source. For videos, it will check the document first; if none are found, it will automatically search YouTubeTM for relevant clips to include.

In just a few clicks, you'll have a complete, media-rich quiz generated for your form.
